Together for safety

On World Safety Day, we at Algeco Belgium are putting extra emphasis on what is a priority for us all year round: safety in the workplace.
To emphasize the importance of our safety policy, we organized a series of inspiring workshops at the headquarters in collaboration with Fullmark.

Both employees and subcontractors were invited to participate, reflect on safety, and gain new insights.

Shared Vigilance: “Take Care of Each Other”

The first workshop was conducted by Jamal Lagrib, a recognized Safety Coach and an authority in the field of prevention and awareness.

His session on shared vigilance seamlessly connected with our internal program "Take Care of Each Other," where we focus on the importance of mutual care and responsibility.

Jamal inspired us with concrete examples and compelling stories to not only pay attention to our own safety but also to that of our colleagues.

Addiction and ADM Policy

The second workshop was led by Davy Casa, an experienced psychologist who took us through an interactive session about addictions and the necessity of a clear Alcohol, Drugs, and Medication Policy (ADM) in the workplace.

In an accessible manner, we gained insight into how addiction issues can arise, and how we as an organization can continue to create a supportive and safe environment.

French fries as the cherry on the cake

Between the workshops, our colleagues and subcontractors enjoyed a well-deserved break with delicious fries, freshly made by the Snackcar.

Because celebrating safety can also be fun and tasty!
