When a school needs extra classroom space, the solution must do more than just add extra square meters. It must protect the routine, ensure lessons run smoothly, and create an environment where children feel supported.

That was exactly the challenge in Hoogeveen. The school needed additional classroom space to bridge a temporary period, while maintaining the familiar rhythm of the school as much as possible. Algeco realized a complete modular school extension with 54 Fire-X units, providing the school with extra space so that students and teachers could continue as usual.

When a school needs extra space, it's not just about adding classrooms, but about keeping education on track. For Primary School Het Palet, Algeco installed a temporary school expansion, made up of 54 Fire-X modular units. This provided students with a safe and comfortable place to learn, and teachers a fully functional environment to teach in.

Thanks to well-organized spaces and a practical layout, the expansion supports smooth transitions between classes, within an environment that is inviting and focused on learning.

The Fire-X units were chosen because they fit perfectly within an educational context, with a modern appearance and a strong focus on safety. The result is a full-fledged learning environment that supports focus, well-being, and continuity during the transition period while the new school is being built.

360° Services: a total solution for the school

To have the modular expansion fully operational from day one, the school utilized various 360° Services and relied on one single partner for both the units and all necessary extras.

  • Comfort and climate: inverter air conditioning and ventilation, supported by 25 heat pumps, including service and maintenance. 
  • Technology and facilities: a data installation for connected and digitally supported education.
  • Safety and security: a fire detection and evacuation system with a wireless control panel and emergency power supply, including 3 manual alarms, supplemented by a burglar alarm system with central emergency power and code control, 14 dual technology detectors, door contacts, an interior siren, a flashing light, cabling, and ongoing service.

By choosing Algeco’s 360° Services, the school streamlined the coordination, reduced the number of suppliers on-site, and could rely on fast, reliable support.
