Open position -Outside Sales Representative

Algeco Belgium, a leading provider of modular space solutions, is seeking a highly motivated Outside Sales Representative to join our team.


Your role and responsibilities:

As an Outside Sales Representative at Algeco Belgium, you will be responsible for the commercial development of the company and optimizing margins.

  • Sales generation: Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned territory. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Client relationship management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients. Understand their needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their modular space requirements.
  • Sales administration: Ensure accurate and timely completion of sales reports, customer contracts, and other administrative tasks. Utilize CRM tools to manage and track sales activities.
  • Teamwork: work closely with internal sales team(s), including operations, project office, and customer service, to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.



To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A Bachelor's degree
  • 3-5 years of relevant sales experience.
  • Proficiency in English, Dutch, and French.
  • Strong negotiation skills combined with relationship management abilities.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
  • Knowledge of the Limbourg and Antwerp market is an advantage.
  • Self-motivated with a strong ability to work independently.
  • Market perception (evolutions, potential, competition).
    Knowledge of technical specifications of the product to provide optimal solutions.


  • Proven (Inside) Sales Experience: Demonstrated success in a similar (inside) sales role, preferably in the modular construction or related industry.
  • Excellent communication skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills in Dutch, French, and English.
  • Customer-focused: A customer-centric approach with the ability to understand and address customer needs effectively.
  • ERP System Knowledge: Familiarity with an ERP system, particularly Navision, is advantageous and will be considered a valuable asset in executing tasks efficiently.
  • Comfort with technical information: The ability to confidently navigate and understand technical information is mandatory, as it plays a pivotal role in gaining insights into the modular construction industry. A fearless approach to handling technical details will be essential for success in this role.
  • Team collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with field sales representatives and other internal teams.
  • Self-motivated: Proactive and results-driven, with a high level of initiative.
